Members of St. Peter's Stewardship Working Group provided a deeper dive into the 2026 Faith and Vision Focused Budget, framing the discussion around mission, ministry and opportunity.
The goals include a realization that our continued engagement and support are critical as we seek to be good stewards of the resources God has given us moving forward, making stewardship a year round journey.
The Stewardship Working Group created the 2026 Faith and Vision Focused Budget, underpinned by caring for St. Peter's current needs and preparing for future growth.
The document provides a deeper understanding of how individual gifts and contributions (time, talents and treasure), beyond attending services each Sunday, make St. Peter’s many ministries possible.

During Advent and into the New Year 2026, we will be featuring videos of our parishioners sharing what Stewardship means to them.
Following is how the Episcopal Church describes stewardship:
Stewardship is about being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God. The tradition of giving back to God and to the church comes from the Biblical practice of “tithing,” which means to give back a tenth of our earnings to God (Numbers 18:26). The Episcopal Church sees stewardship as more than simply contributing money to the church; it’s also about contributing time and talents and volunteering for ministry and mission. It’s about reaching out to build relationships from a perspective of abundance instead of scarcity.
