In honor of the Blessing of the Animals, St. Peter's is hosting a Pet Food Drive. Volunteers are needed, and pet food donations are accepted through September 27th. You'll find all the details on the attached flyer.
Every fall, St. Peter's conducts the Blessing of the Animals at a Sunday worship service. The beloved gathering is held on St. Peter's Green honoring the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi (c. 1180–1226), patron saint of animals and the environment.
In 2026, this joyful service is scheduled for October 4th at 9:30AM on St. Peter's Green. All God's creatures great and small, along with their human caretakers, are welcome to attend.
